The Ripple Effect

This is a must read.

Drop a pebble in a still pond.
And watch the ripple travel in and out in an ever expanding ring.

Thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters. They create ripples that spread and expand as they move outwards.

Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives and their reaction in turn affect others.
The impact each of us have is greater than we could ever imagine. The choices we make have far reaching consequences.

Every transformation, just like every ripple, has a point of origin.
A new millenium is here and a great spiritual awakening has begun.
It resides within your heart.

People everywhere are seeking answers to the true nature of their souls. To what God has to do with their lives, To whether our small contributions can really affect great changes.

The Pond is the World.
Your Heart is the Pebble.
The Ripple is the Love and Positive Intention you send out with every Heartbeat.

Imagine......

Your Heart sends out a Ripple....it beats in time with another Heart and the Ripple doubles....which beat in time with other Hearts....and the Ripple grows.

Spreading from Heart to Heart with gradually increasing influence over the community.

The Ripple Effect is a connection between those in need and those who want to help.

If all of us gave just one hour a week to doing good or one hour sending out a blessing with every Heartbeat.....think of the combined effect of the growing Ripple on our communities everywhere.

Each of us carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse.

We can use the Ripple Effect to make a positive difference and spread waves of Loving-Kindness that will wash all over the world.

Each act of charity....
Each thoughtful deed....
Each positive thought can ripple from heart to heart and evoke changes in time and space.

Bringing Heartbeats to vibrate in time.
The momentum of your influence will grow as your Ripple moves onwards and outwards;
The Ripple growing in size as your Heart connects to another and their contribution is added.

Eventually the Ripple becomes a Wave. The Wave growing in strength as more Heartbeats begin to resonate together.

Rippling out to reach countless souls as our Heartbeats vibrate in time and space.....The Wave becoming a rising Tide sweeping across the Globe.

The Ripple Effect - Each choice we make causes a ripple effect in our lives. When things happen to us, it is the reaction we choose that can create the difference between the sorrows of our past and the joy in our future. -Unknown-

Each individual must believe in their ability to use their Heart.

As the Pebble in the pond, to send a Ripple outward with every Heartbeat.

To touch the lives of everybody they come in contact with. And outward to everyone those people come in contact with.

And outward....

And outward....

Until the Hearts of All Humanity......Create a Tide that will raise a level Conciousness on this planet in deep respect for all That Is.

Peace Of Mind

Once Buddha was walking from one town to another town with a few of his followers.
This was in the initial days.
While they were travelling, they happened to pass a lake.
They stopped there and Buddha told one of his disciples, "I am thirsty. Do get me some water from that lake there."

The disciple walked up to the lake.
When he reached it, he noticed that right at that moment, a bullock cart started crossing through the lake.
As a result, the water became very muddy, very turbid.
The disciple thought, "How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink!"

So he came back and told Buddha, "The water in there is very muddy. I don't think it is fit to drink."
After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink.
The disciple obediently went back to the lake.
This time too he found that the lake was muddy.
He returned and informed Buddha about the same.
After sometime, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back.

The disciple reached the lake to find the lake absolutely clean and clear with pure water in it.
The mud had settled down and the water above it looked fit to be had.
So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha.
Buddha looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple and said," See what you did to make the water clean.

You let it be.... and the mud settled down on its own - and you got clear water.

Your mind is also like that!
When it is disturbed, just let it be.
Give it a little time.
It will settle down on its own.
You don't have to put in any effort to calm it down.
It will happen. "It is effortless."

Sometimes we don't realize

We always feel that good things happen only to OTHERS
But We always forget that we are also OTHERS
to SOMEONE!!!!

Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you have decided to look beyond the imperfections.

9 Wonderful Gifts That Gives Us Hope To Believe

1. When we understand our lives count for something.
We have a purpose for being here.
It really doesn’t matter what we do.
What matters is how we take the gifts we have been given and use them to inspire and care for others. When we do this, it’s clear our lives do indeed count for something.

2. Refusing temptation.
(I am still trying to resist shopping as much as possible)

3. Finding the courage to start-over.
Starting over again is not a sign of defeat; it’s a sign of hope.

It signifies where we were heading was not the proper destination, but we still have the energy and passion to keep going – albeit in a different direction. Starting over recharges our spirit and keeps us moving forward in life.

4. When time does heal old wounds.
Emotional pain will not last forever.
Nothing stays the same forever.
When the hole created by the pain begins to be filled-in with love and grace, hope begins to seep through until its healing presence can at least start working on the edges as it gradually moves more towards the core.

5. Forgiveness.
Forgiveness provides hope for a new start. To forgive is to let go of the anger, shame and resentment that is keeping you stuck in the pain and in the past. To be clear, the act of forgiveness is a gift, you give yourself. The root word give in the word forgiveness reminds us that when we forgive we give ourselves hope for a new beginning.

6. Change.
Change allows us to redefine and reinvent ourselves for the better. When we are open to change, we are given the opportunity to see things differently and to do things differently.
We change in order to grow. Real growth, however, can occur incrementally. Meaning we don’t have to change everything about ourselves or our lives all at once, we just need to begin changing some things – a little at a time.

Decisions bring about change and change brings about growth and growth brings hope. So, begin by making a few new decisions, new choices, about how you want to live the rest of your life and feel the hope as it begins to swell inside of you.

7. Do something good every day.
Inspiration can be found in the oddest places. Do something good every day doesn’t just have to be a temporary marketing campaign, it can also be a daily mantra if we choose to remember its challenge. By doing something good every day we can choose to bring hope to people we know and to people we don’t know. I think by doing so, we will bring hope to ourselves, too.

8. Love will continue forever.
The choices we make today will impact and shape what that eternal love will be like.
When love is given without conditions, and it is returned authentically, we can have hope the love will continue forever.

9. When we understand that we are enough.
I am enough.
If I never make a gazillion dollars, I’m still enough.
If I never write a best-selling book, I’m still enough.
If I never achieve every dream and goal I have, I’m still enough.
I’m enough because each day I try to be the best parent, husband, wife, friend, employee and citizen I can be.
