Christina Joanne

We just celebrated Christina's birthday last friday. Man, this can only mean one thing, i am getting old booo hooo hooo

Who the heck cares as long as i know i am enjoying life every minute. Let's not get deviated here, this blog isnt abt me here.

Anyway, coming back to the matter at hand, my li'l miss christina joanne will be leaving to Brisbane this July.

Looks like there's some mixed feelings going on here. I am proud that she will be going to further her studies. But at the same time, at any functions there will be one person less standing among us. Christina and Matthew are like only cousins Jason and i ever mix with. The same goes to Christina and Matthew. So when there is any functions, the ppl we gossip around is just the 4 of us.

Well, looks like Christina has finally grown up and decided to spread her wings and widen up her horizons.

Time really flew, from the time, Christina at the age of 4 used to rush to put her slippers on when mummy used to come back from work. And dash off to our house. At that time, Mama's house and ur house was just a few doorsteps away. Daddy loved her and used to irritate her like crazy, my goddd :) Now she is a big girl.

Part of me dont wanna her to go but this is the best. I know things wont be the same anymore coz I am sure anybody would agree that its better to have an opportunity elsewhere rather than be here.

Here's a little something for you, Christina.:

1. You have learnt to be a very strong person

2. At a young age, you gained so much of maturity

3. Whereever you go, i know there will be good things waiting for you

4. Be proud of who you are

5. Been a good and helpful sister to Matthew. Nobody could have done it better than you

6. You are Kochu's best fren and support in so many ways

7. Plz screw the chinkos you have to put up with in your apartment. Think abt youself. Its survival of fittest out there. So its good being abit selfish at times especially when its chinkos involved or whoever.

I wish you all the best, Kattae. Take good care of urself and you know you have a family who loves and cares for you very much here. I love you very much :o)

My mama turned 87 last Monday (11-May-09)

My most fav gramma.
Her signature dish was her fried kuay teow. She would take the pain to make it exactly like the chinese restaurant cause everybody loved it. She just so wonderful :o)

There is only one word to describe her, Amazing. She went all the way out for her family when she was able. Because of you, your hardwork and intelligence, Mama, the whole family is doing fine now.

My Li'l Trip To Lake Toba & Medan (Date.: 29-April-09 to 2-May-09)

The journey started with this zaman purba ferry ride. Quite scary stair case when you land on the ferry. Its self man made. Those with weak hearts, please brace yourself (ok, i am exaggerating).................he he he :o)

The trip was indeed worth it. You know being away from the hustle-bustle of city life. As for me i didnt have to do quotes or listen to Mr.P's out of this world next horrendous moves on project.

The Batak people are really helpful and friendly in Toba.

Horas to the lovely Batak ppl :o)

I would definitely go back to Lake Toba :0)

Medan is the 3rd largest city in Indonesia. Apparently the chinese is the largest community here. And seriously, they are like so filthy rich. Their houses are basically like mansions. One bigger than the other. One word of advise, please dont stay in Hotel Citi International, Palang Merah. The service and rooms suck to glory. Hated every minute there. Thanks we had our own itinerary, thank god for that. So we were occupied most of the day with sightseeings. The hotel room was basically a necessity for me and my fren to bathe and sleep...............I have this thing for hotel bathrooms. This is a total disaster, trust me on that. It stank like its never been washed for 3 years. Well, other than the hotel, i have no complaints about my trip. Loved every min of my getaway :o)
