EARTH HOUR 2009

Global warming is the biggest threat we have ever faced.

This is an annual international event created by WWF. Started in 2007 Sydney.

Its exciting that this is taking place on 28-March-09 in the bid to save Planet Earth from global warming.

I hope everybody makes an effort to take part in this event.
It's the little things that we do that makes a whole load difference.

For those who are unaware about this campaign which i doubt so, this is taking place on 28-March-09 (Saturday) from 8.30pm to 9.30pm where we switch off all lights at any homes, buildings, facilities and branches in our bid to fight against global warming.

So remember people, switching off your light is a vote for earth and leaving them on is a vote for global warming.

Here are some suggestion what we can do while this hour takes places.:

1. Candlelight dinner
2. BBQ party
3. Go outdoors, look at the sky and take your time to enjoy watching the stars (something we take for granted due to our busy and hectic schedule

Let's chip in and do our part. We need to save our heritage for the future generations to come.

Random Thoughts At 3.40pm on 20-March-09.

"Oh what a beautiful feeling,
oh what a beaituful day.
I have a beautiful feeling, everything is going my way".
(This is what's being sung in my head rite now)

This is what happens when the clocks starting ticking in the afternoon on fridays. Your system tends to reject work instantly. No matter how hard you try, you tend to deviate to do other things. You feel like you tend to have a sudden allergy towards work. That's like the friday syndrome for me.

FRIDAYS, the best day of the week and my most happiest day :o)

Every minute is closer to the weekend, woooooo hooooo........ its time to partyyyyyyyyy, its time to partyyyyyyyyyy.

Melanie Louise Jason Turns 2 Tomorrow (21-March-09)

The many faces of li'l Mel
It looks like it was only yesterday Jason got married.
Marriane got pregnant.
The arrival of our bratty angel, Melanie Louise Jason.
Wow, how times flies. Its true what they say time and tide waits for no man.

Children are naturally a miracle, a wonderful miracle indeed. They are so fragile and they lean on you for support. To teach them and help them grow,

It's amazing to see them learn new things and come up with their own pranks at the end of the day.
Take it from me, seeing my niece and spending time with her is a wonderful destress therapy.
Like i said, in the beginning, time flies really fast hence seriously, please quit worrying and whinning about the past or what is going to happen in the future.
Either way what's going to happen will happen anyway. Maybe you wont get the solution right away but who said that there wont be any solutions. That's why we have problems right int he first place. Solutions are everywhere. It will come at the right time and place. And that something we have to very optimistic about.

Seriously, just get out there and enjoy your life like there is no tomorrow. Do something really wonderful for yourself today. Start today. Why wait for tomorrow!!!!!!

Most importantly, let's find our own happiness and destiny. And cherish the people you love. Dont forget to be grateful for all that you have in your life. That reminds me of my new camera and hp i am about to get for myself, wooooo hooooo partyyyyyyyyyy :0)

Carpe diem ! ! !

Dresser's Li'l Adventure in Skytrex Theme Park

Me in my gear (they tend to gear you up real tight so get used to it)

Dresser Masoneilan Project Group
Tucker aka Chinese Rambo, Richard, Intan & Me

Dresser decided that it should bring the tarzans and janes in all of us on the 11-March-09.

It was a theme park in Shah Alam filled with high ropes activities. Surprisingly though, we got to know about this place from my VP. I never knew this place existed.
We started out with lunch which was KFC :o) for the pure cavemen meat eaters before we take on the ropes. I took my own lunch as i was vegetarian. I am beginning to realize most of the company activities are held on wednesdays, the day i am vegetarian :o(
Skytrex adventure theme park was opened 2 years back. Its run by this french dude, Julien Repelin who is actually a software engineer who left the office lifestyle to pursue his passion. Seriously a nice guy.
What would one expect in this?
First was the trial version - walking on the wooden planks, rope + net and firefox.

Then you proceed to the real adventure, the REAL DEAL.
You are basically suspended at about 17 meters above the ground. Basically you need to move from one tree to another with all sorts of challenges in between.
The entire course takes around 1 and 1/2 hours to complete - depending on your physical fitness and agility!

Conculsion, the whole thing is really safe as long as you know how to use your safety harness and pulley. Of course, they would teach you how to use your safety harness. Not all of us do this everyday :o)
